West Midlands Tastiest Sausage 2004

Teme Vale Victuallers won the West Midlands tastiest sausage competition for the second time yesterday (28 January).

The winning sausage (which was selected from 25 entries) was the Malvern Victorian Sausage.

This is made with beef and pork and flavoured with a selection of herbs which include celery leaf, parsley, spring onion tops and white pepper. It is available at the TVV shop in Malvern, at farm shops throughout Worcestershire and via mail order at 7.25 per kg.

Second place was awarded to the Shropshire Sausage from Maynards Farm. Third place was shared between Wooton Organic (Cumberland Sausage) and AW Lashford (Pork Sausages).
