West Midlands Tastiest Sausages 2005

The event, made possible through funding from Food from Britain, was part of a national programme of activity to highlight the Farmhouse Breakfast Week Campaign.
Boxleys of Wombourne won the West Midlands Tastiest Speciality Sausage. The sausage called the Old English Herb was described by the Keith Boxley as a traditional pork sausage with subtle blend of old English herbs.
Robert Jones of the Stourbridge branch of Walter Smith won the West Midlands Tastiest Breakfast Sausage. The winning sausage was Pork & Black Pudding, a traditional pork sausage blended with black pudding.
