Malvern Country Meals is our local butcher and they produce a wide range of excellent sausages.
I have to also declare a particular interest... my wife and I entered their competition a few years back to "design a sausage", and the sausage we created (Pork citrus and red wine) ended up winning the Q Guild of butcher''s diamond award for the year 2000!
On top of the top quality meat they sell (locally sourced, free range, properly hung), they offer around 20 different kinds of sausage. You''ll usually find at least 8 of these on offer at any one time.
Their classic pork is probably my favourite, but the pork and chilli and pork and spring onion are also very good. They are marked on this website as not having rare breed meat, but I know that they do sometimes have this for sale - either as joints/cuts of meat, or sometimes the rare-breed pork (e.g. saddleback) will go into the sausage mix. Just one of the reasons why they make such great sausages...
Pork & leek, Malvern Victorian and Classic pork are the best sausages we have tasted in years.
