product picture It must be something about the Yorkshire air and the Swiss. Like the founders of Bettys tearooms, Jurg Bleiker has come from Switzerland and has prospered in Yorkshire.

They specialise in smoked fish but also make a interesting selection of sausages, bacon and black pudding. A smoked Toulouse sausage was packed with flavour. The meat is coarsely cut and mixed with a good proportion of fat (traditionally Toulouse is made with at least a quarter of fat to meat).

They sell at food fairs, independent retailers and through mail order. You can order products individually or in collections. The Big Breakfast collection costs 30 and includes smoked salmon, kippers, sausages, bacon and black pudding.
