SySoPo Chilli

Programmer SySoPos famous chilli recipe

Ingredients
500 g sausage - crumble & brown
1000 g beef mince - brown & drain
1 Can - chilli beans - DONT DRAIN
1 Can - pinto beans
2 Cans - kidney beans
2 Cans chopped tomatoes
2 Medium onions - chopped
1 Whole celery stalk - choped
1 green bell pepper - deseeded and chopped
1 red or prange pepper - deseeded and chopped
Can of water
1.5 teaspoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon chilli powder or to taste
1.5 teaspoons white sugar
1.5 teaspoons salt
1.5 teaspoons cumin

Method

Use 2 Seperate Frying Pans
Pan 1 - brown mince and drain
Pan 2 - brown sausage but do not drain
Add all chopped veg into sausage pan,turn heat to medium and soften, stirring gently.
Add meat, veg and beans to a large pot with a can of hot water
Bring the pot to a simmer while you add spices
Simmer gently for 1 -2 hours without covering
Stir often and add water if needed
Serve with grated cheese and sour cream

Suggested Sausages

Country smoked or sweet or any bulk sausages (or plain pork sausage meat in the UK)
