2004 Hampshire Sausage Competition

The Great Hampshire Sausage and Bacon Competition took place on February 5 with 29 butchers submitting 165 products.

Hedge End Butchers of Southampton won the Speciality class and took the overall trophy with a Smoked Hickory Pork Sausage. The Traditional Pork Sausage was won by a LJ Smith.

Stephen Humby Butchers of Portsmouth won awards for Lamb, Mint & Apricot (Speciality Sausage) and The Italian Stallion (Valentines Sausage).
