Won Gold for Pork, Chive & Onion Sausages at the 2004 Great Taste Awards
We met Wilfred and his team at the Taste of the West Show on Sat 19th March. We were first attracted to try the samples of the sausages by his very funny sales pitch, and how glad we were that we did. Lovely flavour and texture, and as I have an intolerance to wheat, it was good to know that they were gluten free. They contain soy bean flour instead of the usual rusk. We bought two packs to try when we got home, and will certainly be seeking out some more.
We had to fight to get the last pack from our local Sainsbury''s this week. That was our fault as we recommend them to everyone the sausages are a pleasure to eat. In fact, I even send them to my sister in West Sussex as Sainsbury''s there will not order them in - ''We cannot sell West Country food here.'' Can you believe that! Do they supply anywhere near Worthing?
Fabulous sausages - sampled at Dorchester Show today - pure heaven. Hope can order on line- great quality product, tastes heavenly.

After being diagnosed coelic in June 2005 the Black Farmer sausages were a very welcome find. They are the tastest thing I have ome across. First tried at the NEC Good Food Show in October 2005, I embarassed my friends by going back time and time again for samples. We have had them every week since then. You really must try these all the family love them.
2 of my children are Coeliac and we''ver tried various sausages. This was the first time we found these in Sainsbury''s, and they both absolutely love them. They taste as good as "normal" ones they said!! I hope my Sainsbury''s don''t stop supplying them.
