Pigs in Blankets
Sausages wraped in bacon. Take a favorite sausage and wrap in fatty, streaky bacon or for a bit of class some Italian lardo.
A classic accompaniment to roast Chicken or Turkey, good by themselves or round a Autumn bonfire.
Good streaky bacon
Whatever else you fancy - prunes, apricots, oysters, lardo etc
Wrap the sausage and other filling in the bacon or lardo
Roast for 30 minutes or grill for around 10 minutes
Usually made with a plain pork chipolata but try with anything you fancy. Be creative - add prunes,dried apricot or a even oyster!
